Stroudsburg Area School District - "The Pride of the Poconos."

Long gone are the days of one room school houses, leather football helmets and Friday afternoon ceremonies around the flag pole. Yet, the Stroudsburg Area School District is steeped in history and tradition. The design of the Mountie Pride pin dates back well into that history as the symbol of the National Honor Society, and has continued to grace letterhead, yearbooks and publications for many, many years. The pin is made available through the joint efforts of the various PTA and parent groups who support the Stroudsburg Area School District community.
